Beach Boogie Success

Beach Boogie 2026 is in the rear-view mirror, but attendees are still talking about it. What a fun weekend that was. A great big thank you to all the dancers that volunteered their time, skills, and money to make this year’s Boogie the best ever.

 A special thank you to:

  • Mike and Debbe Lapina for all the organization.

  • Bobbie Colgan for the decorations and quilt.

  • Alvin Hysler for the 50/50 and pool races.

  • Sharon Commerford for the baskets, flyers and table layouts.

  • Joyce Lucas and Lorriane Cole for all the registration work and room party

The music, the DJ’s, the decorations, the pool parties, the duck/gator/flamingo races, the hat contest, the lessons, the baskets, the quilt, the dance cards, the meet and great, all top notch!

I think we already have nineteen table reservations for Boogie 2027.

Our next dance is Sept 11th. Lessons will be Intermediate East Coast swing taught by Sharon and myself. Wear your red, white, and blue. We will remember 9/11 and recognize our veterans and first responders.

September 25th will be our TBBB anniversary dance. More information coming on that dance very soon.
